Smeraglia
 Longtime
New Mexico resident René Smeraglia has been writing professionally
since 1990. His short stories have appeared in such publications as Writer's
Workshop, Vision SF and Quanta and he authored an original
radio suspense drama that aired in 1995. His first two science fiction
novels, The Archus Legacy and Kurellian Dawn, were published
by Books in Motion in 1996. René currently writes a bi-weekly
column for Computer-Scene Magazine and has recently relocated to
the Washington, D.C. area. Quiet Desperation is his first mystery
novel.
